Re: Keeping the Pressure On: Lawrence anarchists fight against Military Recruitment

I don't see that you have anything to be proud of; you've done some minor property damage, caused some inconvenience, swaggered as if you are real fighters for peace and justice, but you achieved nothing of substance. I'll respect you when I see you in a federal prison for a real action against the 'forces of evil.'

Re: Re: Keeping the Pressure On: Lawrence anarchists fight against Military Recruitment

Well, actually, I feel like we've done a lot more than many in the anti-war movement. What has signholding for years done? Apparently, we've waisted a lot of their recruitment budget... money that could have gone to recruiting more kids. I also find your idea that somehow sitting in a prison is a way to measure how much we've accomplished. I think most prisoners agree that getting sent to prison is a loss, not a victory.

Thanks, and get off the internet and do something... anything.

I concure sittin in priosn is hopeless its a loss. No matter what u did to get in there unless u were a bum arrested for trespassin. U are not allowed to protest while incarcerated. Known as citin a riot/mob, Disobeying direct orders, etc. You only spend time in the hole. A smart activist stays on the streets. Took some time for me to accept this but it is truth.
