How come no one here bothers to cite specific objections to the Patriot Act? Are there elements you can name that deprive you of your civil rights? Do you know the intrusive rights government had before 9/11? It is not enough to wail against the Bush administration and assume your self-righteousness is an adequate substitute for facts. As a strong Bush supporter, I am less afraid of an occasional abridgement of my civil rights in a time of war than I am of Americans who refuse to offer an alternative to the way this administration fights terrorism. Either offer some specifics and tell us what you'd do, or shut the hell up.
