Cliff Kindy has spent much of the past three years as a Christian Peacemaker Team (CPT) member in Iraq and has volunteered in Colombia, Gaza Strip and West Bank, Palestine, and Chiapas, Mexico. He will share his first hand experiences in Iraq and comment on the recent kidnapping of CPT members. CPT is an ecumenical organization which places teams of trained peacemakers to work with local partners in situations of violent conflict around the world. |

4:00-5:30 pm - Speech at Peace Rally, 47th & Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri
5:30 pm - Reception and Talk - Community Christian Church Activities Center, 3rd floor Chapel, 32 E 46th Street, KCMO (one block east of the J.C. Nichols Fountain where the rally is held)
