The coal companies are still trying to rip apart the mountains of Appalachia and are blowing up highland watersheds which would produce clean drinking water for 10,000 years. We need your help to stop them!

Only two more weeks until the Mountain Justice Summer Training Camp,
May 20-26 in southern West Virginia. All are welcome! We have a great
location picked out in the highlands of Southern West Virginia - this
will be an awesome week of learning about mountaintop removal, mountain
music and culture, plus activist skills and tactics that we will use
this summer in our campaign against mountaintop removal in Appalachia.
We will meet with residents of the West Virginia coalfields at the camp
who have been personally impacted by mountaintop removal, and our
workshops will be led by experienced and dedicated environmental
community, and peace activists who will share their experience and
years of knowledge.
But it won't be all serious. We will have plenty of time for fun, good
food and friendship at the camp. People will be coming from across the
United States to attend the MJS Training Camp - we hope to see you
there!
The cost is only $20 to $50 (pay what you can) for the week, which
includes food, campsite, entertainment and the workshops. The facility
has a nice lodge, awesome mountain views and a laid-back atmosphere.
