After months of waiting, Gov. Matt Blunt has finally called a Nov. 8 special election to fill three vacancies in the Missouri legislature. |
The election will include:
The 94th Legislative District in St. Louis County has been open since the untimely death of Rep. Richard Byrd in May.
150th Legislative District in Southern Missouri was vacated by Democrat Frank Barnitz in April when he won a seat in the State Senate.
More recently, the 29th Senate Seat in Southwest Missouri became open when Senator Larry Gene Taylor passed away. |
