Lana Jacobs goes on trial
Lana Jacobs goes on trial in front of Judge Bryson at the Boone County Courthouse Tuesday morning at 9 AM for her role in digging symbolic graves on the lawn of the ROTC building on Missouri Univerisity. Jacobs who is part of the St. Francis Catholic Worker which feeds and shelters homeless folks at Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen and St. Francis House respectively, was arrested May 2nd about an hour after her husband Steve Jacobs was arrested for initiating the symbolic grave digging to protest the war and handed out flyers calling on ROTC cadets to refuse to obey orders from President Bush who broke the law by authorizing torture and the illegal pre-emptive war against Iraq which did not attack us.
