Announcement :: Alternative Media
Crossroads Infoshop meeting this week Current rating: 0
01 Oct 2005
Interested in supporting alternative media in Kansas City? Do you miss having another independent bookstore? Get involved in the infoshop project!
The Crossroads Infoshop closed in June, but we are currently working on plans to re-open in a new location. This week we will meet on Thursday night, October 7, at a location to be announced. If you are interested in this project, or would like to be a volunteer, please contact me at the e-mail listed above. We will be talking about a possible location for the infoshop on Troost.

On First Friday next week, we will be opening Crossroads Infoshop Lite at the MoMo Gallery at 1830 Locust. Our full selection of new books will be available that night. After First Friday, the MoMo Gallery will host the "Lite" version of the infoshop which will include zines, magazines, comics, graphic novels, and free stuff. This will be open during regular MoMo hours and during times when we can find regular volunteers.

We will also be tabling this month at the Youth Summit, Shake Your Booty, and other local events.

Please join us! We are a cooperative, volunteer-run project.
