Are you looking for a useful political forum that has interesting discussions yet also has a sense of community? Are you tired of political forums where a few egos dominate and try to “win” debates? Are you looking for a place where you can meet like-minded people with whom you can do things with offline? Do you want to support independent media that are fighting against corporate giants like Myspace?

You are invited to participate at the Infoshop Forums, one of the oldest and most popular anarchist forums on the Internet. Started in 2002, the Infoshop Forums have thousands of registered users and several dozen forums. We offer a mixture of moderated and lightly moderated forums.

We offer general discussion forums on anarchism, activism, culture, libertarian Marxism, and special topics like poststructuralism, green anarchism, labor organizing, and non-western anarchism.

The Infoshop Forums also have forums that are geared towards helping like-minded people network and organize together, such as forums for anarchists in specific cities, countries and regions. We have a ride board for activists. There are also forums for people involved in various social change movements.

We recently added forums on “Activist tech” and “Criticisms of technology.” The former group is for people interested in such things as the free software/open source movement. The latter forum is for people interested in discussing the political, economic, social and environmental effects of technology.

In recent years, capitalist-run social networking sites such as Myspace and Facebook have taken the audience away from DIY anarchist and radical websites. These capitalist websites have their bells and whistles, but if anti-capitalist folks are going to practice what we preach, we need to support forums and websites run by like-minded people. Please consider participating at the Infoshop Forums.

We also recommend the forums at our sister site Flag.blackened.net:
