oost Arts Corridor Awakens with New Gallery Opening

Kansas City, MO – April 5, 2008 – At Troost & Linwood Art Space (@TLAS), the newest gallery to open along the awakening Troost Arts Corridor, celebrates its public Grand Opening with a Gala Event, Saturday, April 5th, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
@TLAS, located at 3219 Troost Ave., houses a collection of artists that maintain professional studios on premises. Pricing for these studios range from $90 to $165 per month and include a host of amenities, from free utilities, to broadband wireless Internet access.

This Gala opening will be featuring the diverse works of local artists such as: Tiffany Bradford, Jamie Bowen, DaLene DePriest, Nick Flint, John Hall, John Lenz, Matt McAnaw, Bradford Taylor, Regina Walsh, and Mary Wano, as well as others. Besides artwork on display, the evening will include; live music performed by DaLene DePriest and friends, tours of resident artist studios, as well as appetizers and refreshments.

Visitors are welcome to stop by @TLAS from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, or Saturday, by appointment. Events are being planned throughout the year, inviting the local and surrounding communities to take part and witness first hand the awakening of the Troost Arts Corridor.
