Memorial service for Reva Griffith

Dear Peace Activists,
Many of you may have known Reva Griffith who was a long-time members of
the
Penn Valley Friends Meeting and the Kansas City AFSC, author, activist
on
abolition of the death penalty, and peace advocate. I am very sad to
report
that she passed away on Wednesday, November 5th.
Her memorial service will be at 1pm at All Souls Unitarian Church at
45th
and Warwick on Saturday November 15.
The family has asked that in liu of flowers, that memorials be made to
the
American Friends Service Committee, 4405 Gillham Rd., KCMO 64110 or
Western
Missouri Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, PO Box 45302, KCMO
64171.
Her life was an inspiration to many of us. She will be greatly missed |
